Since Ruth's main protagonist is a doctor, she will also be sharing share some ancient medical cures that people definitely won’t want to try at home.
Ruth Downie is the author of a series of novels featuring Roman Army medic Gaius Petrieus Ruso, a man whose hopes of a quiet life are regularly dashed by unwanted murder investigations, by his British partner Tilla and by the demands of his family back home in the south of Gaul.
