In Conversation with Selaine Saxby
'A generous, joyful book. deeply moving at points, very funny at others. Generally - and genuinely - life-affirming.' The Times Magazine
Sophie Raworth is one of Britain’s best-known broadcasters, covering some of the most significant world events and interviewing many global figures. But there is another side to Sophie. At the age of 40, she took up marathon running, despite having done little exercise for decades. Her first one was a disaster – she collapsed two miles from the finish line - but she has now run all seven world Marathon Majors and completed more than 20 marathons and 10 ultra-marathons. Sophie discusses her inspiring story and reveals how running has helped her deal with some of the toughest challenges, both at work and in life.
