Tobias Ellwood VR is a former Conservative politician and soldier, who served as the Member of Parliament for Bournemouth East from 2005 to 2024. He chaired the Defence Select Committee from 2020 to 2023, and was Minister for Defence Veterans, Reserves and Personnel at the Ministry of Defence from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that he served in the Royal Green Jackets, transferring to the Army Reserve where he reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His book, Ten Steps to Prevent World War Three, is published this summer.
John Hutton is a former Labour politician who served in several offices, including Defence Secretary from 2008 to 2009. He served as Member of Parliament for Barrow and Furness from 1992 to 2010. He was created a life peer as Baron Hutton of Furness in 2010.
Major General Timothy Cross CBE is a retired British Army officer and military logistics expert. As the head of the largest of the three Divisions of the UK Field Army, at one stage, he commanded around 30,000 men and women, graduated through the ranks and served in conflicts ranging from Northern Ireland to Kosovo and Iraq.
